Besides being very loving, the are patient, gentle and understanding. I am a single dad of a disabled child, and I was told, and have found out, they are great with disabled children who don't always understand their actions. And both pugs I have owned “know”, she is different and treat her with care.

They are small and portable. The are loving, quirky, fun, playful. Each one has their own big personality in a little body. They are very very very attached to people and have to be by your side whenever you are home. If you don't like a dog that is always there, don't get one. I have never used a crate for any of my pugs, but do have friends that have used them. They do ok, I just don't like using them.
