On May 18, 2017, Miley the Dalmatian became a first-time parent alongside her boyfriend, Astro. She also ended up breaking major world records.
Vets said the ultrasound scans showed Miley was carrying just three puppies. But as you’re about to see, the doctor’s predictions were way off.
Cecilia Langton-Bunkergot was in complete shock when Miley went into labor and delivered 16 puppies. She thought Miley was finally done.
But after nearly 14 hours of labor, the incredible new mother popped out another two.
The whopping litter of 18 is comprised of 12 girls and six boys — and Miley’s brood broke the Australian record for the largest single litter ever delivered!
The pups are now drawing tons of comparisons to “101 Dalmations,” even though Miley surpassed Perdita’s achievement of 15 puppies in the beloved Disney film.
Miley’s pups have been vaccinated and microchipped at Ballarat Veterinary Practice. All 18 puppies are healthy, happy and thriving.
