Dog Stops In His Tracks To Sing ‘Law & Order SVU’ Song Whenever It Comes On

As the spread of the Coronavirus is quite literally shutting down the world around us, it’s nice to hear of the positive stories that are being shared to bring some much-needed smiles to people’s faces.

One pup who will bring some cheer your way is a 1.5-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer named Finn. Finn resides in Manhattan, New York with his dad, Pete Schultz, and mom, Vee Thayer.

According to his mom, Finn loves to play with cat toys, is terrified of wind chimes, and snores louder than anyone she’s ever met.

But he has another quirky characteristic that has recently turned him into an Internet sensation: he is obsessed with Law & Order SUV’s theme song. Whenever the show starts, Finn can’t help but sing along.

As soon as the song starts playing, Finn stops in his tracks no matter what he is doing, and starts howling and whining with the music. He could be in a dead sleep and will still wake up to the song.

He has been doing this since he was a puppy, and it doesn’t seem like he’ll get tired of it any time soon.

“This is as good a time as any to tell you that my dog sings along to the Law & Order theme song every time he hears it,” Schultz wrote on Twitter, with a video of Finn’s adorable singing.

But, wait it gets better. Peter's BFF is actually named after Ice-T's beloved character on the show, Odafin “Fin” Tutuola. According to Peter, the dog's unique moniker was chosen long before discovering that he loved Law & Order.

Now, it's clear it was a perfect fit.

“Every. Time,” Peter wrote alongside another video of Odafin “singing.”

“These take up most of the memory on my phone,” he captioned a third clip. (Same, because I plan to watch these videos on repeat forever.)
