Dog trapped in snow can’t get himself out. Suddenly sees a friend rushing to save him

The Pit Bull was helpless in the snow..

One Pit Bull that got stuck in a pile of snow was on a walk with her owner back in Tannersville, New York.

It happened in March 2017, when a Category 3 Winter Storm Stella battered the East Coast, dumping approximately a range of 3 to 5 feet (or 1 to 1.5 metres) worth of snow in certain parts of the North-East.

To walk through such deep snow was quite a struggle for many during the snowstorm, let alone for animals.

But fortunately for Knuckles, a blue nosed Pit Bull who was stranded next to a dumpster, she had one canine friend whom she could count on in times of need.

Knuckles was spotted stuck fast in a pile of fairly deep snow, and she couldn’t even lift her legs or move. Knuckles could only look helplessly at her owner, Brian Wagner, who had Kanawha, a German shepherd by his side.

Seeing Knuckles trapped in the snow and unable to move, Brian chuckled with amusement at Knuckles – but his German Shepherd did something otherwise.

Using his sharp canine intuition and natural intelligence, Kanawha reached his friend quickly with ease, powerfully diving his body into and against the heaps of snow in his way.

Knuckles was soon reunited and back by her owner’s side, thanks to the German Shepherd!

Since the little snowy incident, both Knuckles and Kanawha have actually became closer than ever – and are now practically inseparable as a duo now!
