Dog comes out of nowhere to help a woman in a car wreck, and it’s incredible

Shannon Lorio lives in a small town called Pavo, Georgia, where she was born and raised. The rural area has curvy, winding roads that run alongside the woods, and that's when something horrible happened.

Fishtailing through a turn, Shannon lost control of her car and was thrown from the front seat through the back window onto the trunk. It would have ended up so poorly. That us, until the dog came out of nowhere.

Shannon was disoriented and in a lot of pain, but the worst part was that nobody driving by would see her wrecked car, and she couldn't move.

She passed out, and when she came to, she was aware of this huge presence.

A dog—that Shannon says she didn't know “from Adam's house cat”—pulled her free of the car and dragged her to the road. That's when the story gets interesting.

Strangers passing by saw the predicament Shannon was in and stopped to help. She was able to tell them what happened and asked them to call her husband, and then passed out. When she came to, she was in the hospital and was told that the injuries to her head resulted in a brain bleed. Had the dog not come along when he did, she probably would have died.

No one knew where the dog came from, if he had been trained, or just wanted to help a fellow creature in trouble. The rest of his story is just as exciting as his encounter with Shannon.
