George was adopted by Caitlin of Cheshire, England back in 2004 when he was about a year old. Harry was adopted a few years after that.
George and Harry instantly bonded and became inseparable. They did practically everything together, side by side – playing, eating, sleeping, etc.
They shared a bed. Oftentimes Harry slept on the side of the bed and let his older brother enjoy the comfy bed all on his own.
Unfortunately, George's kidney failed last year, and had to be put down. Harry still misses him and can't shake his old habits even after a year since George passed.
Caitlin snapped Harry's photo below showing how he still slept on the side of the bed just as he used to when George was still around…
She tweeted the photos with the caption: “I’m full on crying rn…he always let george sleep there and he died almost a year ago and he still lies there.”
The tweet went viral with more than 7,000 retweets and 60,000 likes, and it’s easy to see why. These before and after photos really tug at our heartstrings!
This just goes to show that Harry’s love for George will never fade.
