Couple Starves 3 Dogs, Emaciated 20-Pound German Shepherd Found In Ditch

After searching the couple’s home, police found a German Shepherd/Hound mix locked in a rusty dog crate filled with blood, feces, and urine. This particular dog also weighed around 20 pounds.

The couple’s third dog, a Corgi, was found in a nearby field, again wrapped in a sheet.

According to necropsy results, the German Shepherd died from parvovirus, starvation, and rat poisoning. The Corgi, who weighed a mere four pounds, died of starvation.

Both Gorski and Norris were charged with four felony counts of aggravated cruelty to animals and two misdemeanor counts of unlawful disposal of an animal in addition to one count of forgery.

“To say the charges against Sarah Gorski and Andre Norris are disturbing would be a gross understatement,” said DuPage County State’s Attorney, Robert Berlin.
