Nádia Rosângella walked by a nativity scene that was on display near her home in Brazil, and something about it seemed off.
She stopped to take a second look, and that’s when she noticed it; A small stray puppy was resting in the manger for refuge on this lonely night.

It was the perfect size and such a comfortable spot for the little pup, so he snuggled up for a nap with nowhere else to go.
It was an adorable scene, but the puppy needed some help after having been abandoned in the square however long ago. Nádia took some pictures and started asking around.

And it wasn’t long before a friend stepped up and offered to take the puppy in! The little dog sure didn’t know it at the time, but she gave herself a fighting chance by staying at this nativity scene that night.

Knowing she couldn’t take the dog in herself, Nádia felt like she had to do something to help. She couldn’t leave this poor pup there to fend for herself, and she wanted nothing more than for her to be safe.
Well, Christmas came early this year for Nádia knowing the puppy is now in loving hands! 🙂
