Dog That Appears To Have Acid Poured All Over Her Body Found In Dumpster

During the night in the freezing cold weather of Anderson, Indiana, a startling discovery was made. Someone found a Pit Bull mix all alone in a dumpster, freezing, and covered in an infection.

The dog, who was named Nestle, was taken to the Madison County Humane Society to try and save her life. The shelter’s manager could not believe her eyes, saying the dog had one of the worst infections she’d ever seen.

“They thought she had acid poured on her and they were afraid she was not going to make it,” said Moore. “There is so much of it everywhere. It is really hard for her to feel any relief so the main part is for us to medicate those areas and try to get all of the scabs and blood off and give her some type of relief.”

After receiving urgent veterinary care, Nestle is recovering at the shelter until she can be placed in a foster home. It is believed Nestle is about two years of age, and her rescuers are thankful she was found before it was too late.

She is receiving medicated baths for a fungal infection and will continue getting care until she fully recovers from mange.
