When a dog named Susie realized that she has been paralyzed for life, she immediately lost her will to live.
She moved around in her wheelchair, but could no long play or frolic around with other dogs like before. She felt like a burden to the people around her.
But when she met Holly, a blind dog, she had a complete shift in her perspective!

Like Susie, Holly was also very aware of her plight as a disabled dog. It was difficult for her to navigate around and she had no friends to help her either.
That’s when Susie decided to give Holly a ride in her wheelchair! Susie immediately felt a sense of purpose in her life again, and she dedicated herself toward being Holly’s eyes!

In this video, we see Susie taking Holly on a ride around a rural farm. Holly is comfortably seated in a custom-made pouch attached to Susie’s wheelchair.
Her blindness no longer worries her, as Susie responsibly carries her everywhere and keeps her out of harm’s way.
As for Susie, having a constant companion has become the biggest blessing in her life!

Holly and Susie live in “Norma’s Universe”, which is an animal rehabilitation sanctuary run by a passionate woman. Their caretakers say that the duo understands each other’s pain in the most sympathetic manner!
Despite having excruciating disabilities, Susie and Holly have proved that they can overcome any hardship when they are together! What an inspiration!
