UPS Driver Finds A Bony Great Dane While Out On His Route

UPS driver Gavin Crowsley was working one day on his route when he came across an emaciated Great Dane named Phoenix.

The dog was beyond neglected and on the verge of death on a short chain with no food or water in sight. The man knew if the dog didn’t starve to death, the weather would soon get to him.

So he contacted his employer right away who ended up calling the Humane Society.

Phoenix was found looking like nothing but skin and bones. He weighed only 70 pounds.

But when he was later reunited with the driver who saved his life, the dog looked like a completely new pup!

Now up to a healthy 160 pounds, Phoenix was happy and very thankful. 🙂

In just 7 months, Phoenix made the climb from 70 pounds all the way up to 160 pounds. He looked like a different dog altogether.

The vet did find that he was blind in one eye and totally deaf, and he’d lost part of his ear due to frostbite. But Phoenix now has the life he’s always deserved in a loving forever home!
