A white, fluffy gentle giant was abandoned outside of Wanderers’ Rest Humane Society. The dog was tied to a sled along with a note that read, “Over 10 yrs old. Can no longer walk.”
Thankfully, an employee spotted him right away and called reinforcements…
The dog was taken to a vet where they performed a thorough examination, and it turned out the dog couldn’t walk for one very simple and avoidable reason.
The matted fur on his body made it far too painful to move around. After a haircut and physical therapy, he started walking on his own once again!
This good boy will never be neglected again, and it’s a beautiful thing. 🙂
