White lion and white tiger had babies together and they’re the most adorable things on Earth

No one expected a lion and tiger to reproduce!

Meet the four adorable brothers of a zoo- they are ligers, which are lion-tiger hybrids. Ligers are extremely rare, and there are only about 1,000 of them in the world – mostly living in captivity.

The four ligers are named Yeti, Odlin, Sampson, and Apolo, and they are all white! Their parents are a white lion named Ivory and a white tiger named Saraswati. With just 1,200 white tigers and 300 white lions in the whole world, this entire family of wild cats are an extremely exotic bunch!

Ivory, Saraswati, and their four cubs reside in the T.I.G.E.R. Sanctuary located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

As they grow, Yeti, Odlin, Sampson, and Apolo are all gaining at least a pound of weight each passing day. Dr. Antle, who’s the founder of the T.I.G.E.R Sanctuary, is also amazed by the cubs’ growth.

The liger cubs have the personality traits of both tigers and lions – they love to swim, yet are just sociable like normal lion cubs. However, each cub’s unique. Apollo, the smallest of the four cubs, is the most docile – he loves curling up with his handlers and enjoys their daily pets.

Yeti is the most boisterous and biggest of the four, and he’s extremely attention-seeking. He may even grow to be bigger than his uncle, Hercules! By the time the cubs reach two years of age, Dr. Antle predicted that all four cats will be at least 10 feet tall, and weigh about 750 pounds.

Watch the cubs’ story unfold below!

As exotic and beautiful as they are, ligers are not suitable house pets – just look at their size and temperament!
