This is the story of Biggie the German Shepherd's River Rescue Mission. Hope For Paws received an urgent phone call.
An abandoned dog was trapped in the L.A. river. For weeks, the community fed him while they searched for help. For miles, there was no access in or out of the river.
The awesome peeps from Hope For Paws were unfortunately not equipped for this unique challenge.
But with the neighbors offering their help, were quickly able to gather the equipment they need for this rescue mission.
It's amazing how quickly he went from fearful to your best friend, and all it took was gentleness and patience.
