This stray, blind husky has his own guide dog – they are inseparable

According to the Huffington Post, the pair’s plight caught the attention of a Los Angeles animal rescue organization.

“There’s a work relationship between these two,” a representative said to KTLA. “And there’s a love relationship between these two and how they know what the other needs or what the other is saying is amazing. It’s like an old couple that’s been married for 60 years and they just know what’s going on with the other person.”

The shelter agreed to release both dogs, but even at the rescue organization, it wasn’t easy to find the perfect home. Not only was Isaac blind, but as a bonded pair, the two of them should ideally be adopted together, specifically by a family without cats. “[Isabella’s] far bigger than any of the cats but she acts like they’re tigers or something,” a team member said, according to the Telegraph Sun.

Luckily, there were plenty of people willing to help, and the Telegraph Sun reported that the pair ultimately went to a loving family. “In all my years of working here,” a shelter employee reportedly said, according to their website, “it’s the happiest I’ve ever been that a dog could find a new home.”
