When Marco, a homeless Pit Bull was rescued, he was in grave condition. He was covered in mange, dangerously skinny and had cataracts. His cataracts were so severe that he was blind.

His mange and body weight could be addressed with medication and a new healthy diet but his cataracts would not clear up on their own. He needed expensive surgery.
The rescuers at GO Rescue Pet Adoption Center had little hope for Marco. The chance of Marco making a full recovery AND getting surgery for his eyes were slim to none.
But then something amazing happened!
Marco met his guardian angel! A woman named Georgia Obenaus felt an immediate connection with the sweet dog and made it her mission to get him healthy (and happy!)… and find him a forever loving family.
