Boston Terrier Comes Face To Face With A Cow And They Begin To Play

Miss Piggie the Boston Terrier meets Suzanne the dairy cow and demands to play chase.

Are dairy cows scared of dogs?

Dairy cows as anyone who has ever been to a farm knows, are large animals. They weigh an average of 1,400 pounds and stand about six feet tall at the shoulder.

Given their size, it’s not surprising that dairy cows can be somewhat intimidating. However, they are also gentle giants. Dairy cows have very good eyesight, and they are very curious by nature.

As a result, they are often intrigued by dogs. While they may not be scared of dogs, they will usually keep their distance.

After all, why would they want to get too close to an animal that is much smaller than them?
