Budweiser’s Tribute To 9/11 Was Aired Only Once During Super Bowl XXXVI

9/11 will stay with us forever. It has impacted our country like no other single event has. It has changed us– and in some ways, those changes are for the better.

It brought us together, made us proud to be American, and reminded us that we truly are survivors.

The video posted below, aired only one time in 2002, during Super Bowl XXXVI. It did not resurface again until it appeared on YouTube in 2008, in this unedited, raw footage that seemed to be recorded from someone’s own television set.

The Budweiser Clydesdales, a mascot of the American brand, are also a proud symbol of New York.

In this perfect message, the horses ride toward the city skyline by crossing the Brooklyn Bridge, then pass the Statue of Liberty.

They face toward the new New York– A heartbreaking reminder of a changed skyline that no longer featured the beloved Twin Towers. The majestic horses then take a bow.

If you have seen it, watch it again. Relish it what it means to be American. The pride we all have and will continue to have no matter what happens.

No terrorist will beat us down. Nothing will destroy us. We will stand forever, together, stronger than ever!

*For the 10th Anniversary, September 11th, 2011, Budweiser remastered the commercial then added the message: “We’ll Never Forget” And we never will! See both videos below!
