In this classic video, we see Clarke, a German Shepherd, having a “conversation” with his Dad and getting “teased” by Dad over food.
The hungry dog wears an earnest face as he gets excited when Dad tells him about the “maple-flavored bacon” in the fridge.
However, the poor dog is shocked to discover that Dad ate up all the bacon. But Dad is still not done with Clarke.
He keeps giving delicious descriptions of all the treats loved by Clarke, but has no intention of sharing those treats with him.
The innocent dog gets bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for nothing, and gets fooled by Dad again and again!

This video’s unique popularity is because of Clarke’s splendid voiceover done by voice artist Andrew Grantham, who hails from Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Clarke is a rescue dog belonging to Andrew’s friend. He lives in Colorado with his mom and dad, and unlike this video, he never faces any trouble with getting treats in real life.
