Buster was a one-year-old dog who’d never known anything besides the neglectful and lonely life that his owner created for him. He stayed outside tied with a chain at all times, and it became embedded in his neck causing a very deep wound. Thankfully, some PETA fieldworkers spotted him one day.

The workers noticed the dog’s neck wound and skin condition and approached the owner. And they were able to convince the owner to turn the dog over to them. PETA treated Buster and allowed him to recover while they searched for the perfect forever home for him.

And they found just that! Buster’s adoption day had arrived, and he was finally on his way to a place he could truly call home for the first time in his life. Try not to cry as he awaits his new family at the door. 😉
