A man was passing by a landfill in Texas when he spotted a cooler sitting right in the middle of a vast, deserted field.
Without being suspicious for a moment, the man decided to text his girlfriend if she would be interested in a discarded cooler.
The girlfriend advised him to bring it home as long as it was in a decent condition – and this very thing saved the lives of 3 innocent souls fated to perish!

As the man went ahead to inspect the cooler, he was baffled to find 3 helpless puppies huddled up inside the horrid prison.
Their owner had intentionally got rid of them in the middle of nowhere, and trapped them in the cooler to make sure they suffer and die quietly.
The man immediately brought the puppies to safety and reached out to Shenandoah Shepherd Rescue for further help.

Thanks to the man’s kind gesture, all the puppies are now safe and cozy under the shelter’s care. They are being fed and nurtured by the volunteers who are already besotted by the adorably affectionate trio. The puppies will be transferred to a foster home in Virginia by the weekend.

The shelter has pointed out that these puppies are lucky to be found, as so many other dumped litters are never discovered in due time.
It’s really hard for us to wrap our heads around why people stoop down to such dreadfully cruel methods to dump their unwanted pets, when there are so many surrender options available.
