Corgis Playing A Very Intense Game Of Tetherball In Front Of The Camera

Tetherball is undoubtedly best recognized as a straightforward schoolyard pastime played primarily by children. However, do not tell these corgis that their preferred pastime is just simple play.

They take tetherball VERY seriously around here.

Corgi enthusiasts Katrina Griswold and her family have a loving herd of seven adorable pups.

Naturally, all outdoor family gatherings are corgi parties, and the dogs are more than capable of amusing themselves with toys. Particularly, rounded ones.

According to Griswold, “They LOVE to chase balls. Particularly basketballs or something of the same size. They are little Air Buds.”

Griswold’s mother felt it would be wonderful to have a ball connected by a rope to keep the fun going because balls tend to drift about and get lost. She then bought them a set of tetherballs.

It is evident from watching the dogs in action that they have discovered their calling:

Griswold said, “We didn’t teach them at all! They just did it! My first thought when I saw them playing was just how talented they are.”

When it comes to the corgi-centric tetherball games they play, it is difficult to state with certainty what the rules are.
But what counts most is that they are always having fun.

“They’re so fun to watch,” Griswold said. “We could watch it all day, and they could play all day if we let them!”
