A severely ailing abandoned dog named Declan was recently rescued by the workers of “Dallas Dog”. While the dog’s background is still a mystery, the rescuers say he was holed up in a secluded home in rural Texas.
It’s a miracle that Declan survived the bone-chilling deep freeze for weeks despite his diseased and weakened condition.

Declan has been diagnosed with a progressed case of mange. His furless skin is tender and the bleeding sores are causing him unimaginable pain.
His emaciation indicates the constant starvation that only worsened his infection. Declan’s survival spirit is truly extraordinary, but the bitter truth is that he would have succumbed to his illness within a matter of days.

The rescuers have revealed that Declan is in desperate need of a foster home to recover, more so because of his defeated demeanor.
He has been rendered haunted and brokenhearted from fighting all alone for such a long time, and having a committed and empathetic foster parent will boost his morale considerably.
