Photographer Ben Moon’s life has been an absolute roller-coaster for the past 15 years.
But throughout the many uncontrollable ups and downs, there has always been one constant in his life – the love of his dog, Denali.
Ben has made this emotional film to honor his most loyal friend, and it’s one bittersweet tear-jerker.
Ben’s early days with Denali were marked by turmoil triggered by the man’s failing relationship with his girlfriend.
After a devastating breakup, Ben completely shifted toward a nomadic lifestyle. With Denali by his side, he would visit adventure spots and live the vagabond life.
But at the age of 29, Ben’s world fell apart when he got diagnosed with colorectal cancer.
Throughout his soul-sucking battle with cancer, Denali was his only source of comfort. The dog would refuse to leave the hospital bed and beg his weak dad to keep fighting through the dread.
When Ben was finally cancer-free, he knew he was alive only because of his pooch’s constant healing presence!

The next decade was a happy blur for the duo, but tragedy struck again when a 14-year-old Denali received a fatal cancer diagnosis.
Knowing that his beloved dog’s end was near, Ben embarked on a road trip once again. But this time, there was a heartbreaking urgency to cover Denali’s favorite holiday spots before time ran out.

Over the years, Denali has not only helped Ben overcome disease and depression, but also faithfully motivated him to embrace personal growth.
