After Plattsburg Police officer Nick Sheppard – a self-professed “dog lover” – responded to a call about a dog needing a rescue he got quite the surprise. He noticed a dog was trapped in a fence and helped free him, but he wasn’t expecting what the dog did next to show how much he appreciated being freed!
Sadly, Officer Sheppard didn’t get to keep his new buddy. The Plattsburg Police Department let everyone know, “This happy doggy was picked up a short time later by his owner.”
