A man in Nanaimo, British Columbia, was leaving the pool when he heard a car horn blaring throughout the parking lot. At first he thought nothing of it, that maybe it was just a kid fooling around or something. But the sound continued on.
Was something the matter? What was going on? He looked around and located where the sound was coming from and saw something he never expected: a dog honking the horn!
He started recording with his phone camera and zoomed in on the dog. His face looked so annoyed! The man approached and tried to get the dog to stop but to no avail. 😀
“My husband was leaving the pool and heard a really loud and continuous car horn coming from the parking lot,” Elizabeth Herman wrote on Facebook. “At first he thought there was a person sitting in the front seat of the car leaning on the horn, but as he got closer he realized it was a dog. He started filming and as he got closer he could see the dog’s paw pushing on the horn. He stopped filming and tried to distract the dog to get him to take his paw off the horn, which the dog eventually did.”
While the dog in this video was completely safe and comfortable, it’s important to note that dogs should never be left alone in vehicles for a long period of time. Especially when it’s warmer outside. Cracked windows aren’t even enough to keep a dog cool inside of a hot vehicle.
