Dog Kept On Short Chain All His Life Cries All Day, Owners Say They Don’t Care

Jes, a fieldworker from PETA, was passing by a property when she spotted a distressed dog tangled up on a short chain.

Jes investigated further and found that the dog was called Flannel, and had been kept chained outside all his life.

Jes knocked at the owner’s door to enquire about the wellbeing of the dog. However, the owners nonchalantly explained that they didn’t care or even want to keep the dog anymore.

It was clear that they never loved Flannel and were eager to get rid of him.

Flannel sighed with relief when Jes finally freed him from his chained existence and brought him to her car.

At the shelter, Jes and the other workers were deeply saddened to see that Flannel had never been indoors and had no idea what it felt like to be loved.

The shelter put him under the care of a woman named Wendy. Wendy will nurture him and show him what it’s like to be a beloved pet.

Towards the end of this video, we see the grateful Flannel hug Wendy in happy tears. We hope he finds his forever home soon. What a sweet boy!

It all started when Seppo fed worms and fish to the small and malnourished otter who was clearly looking for food.

After that, the friendly animal repaid the kindness by visiting the man at his home in Punkaharju in easter Finland. This was the start of something special.

There’s no way Seppo could’ve ever imagined it’d all lead to this. This adorably unique friendship is one for the ages, and it’s something you have to see to believe.
