Robert Leroy Edwards was tired of a family dog’s barking, so he did the most horrific thing to the innocent animal. Edwards found an electrical cord, tied it around the dog’s neck, and hanged the animal until she was dead.
The 38-year-old man didn’t stop there. He went back into his home, woke up another family member and asked for their help to hide the dog’s body. When the person refused and saw what Edwards did, he punched him.

Another person in the residence heard the racket and saw what was going on. He argued with Edwards, who then attacked the man, leaving behind bruising blows.
One of the people who reside at the home took to Facebook to share what happened. Richard Hunt wrote, “I will never be able to erase the sight of her broken body from my mind. It took me a few minutes to untie the noose he had used to choke our sweet girl with. ”
At that point, 911 was called and police arrived on the scene. Thankfully, Edwards was arrested and hauled away. Both victims refused medical treatment.

Hunt also called Edwards an “alcoholic drifter who can’t hold a job.” He plans to attend every hearing, some of which involve child abuse.
