Ellen DeGeneres Adopts Neglected Puppy But Her Other Dogs Aren’t Thrilled

Mrs. Wallis Browning is the latest dog to join the Ellen DeGeneres and Portia DiRossi family. The famous television star and her wife adopted another pooch and DeGeneres made the big announcement on her daytime show.

“I had to get another phone,” she said on her show. “My battery was running low. I mean, literally, I was picking up the phone [for] everything she did.”

She says the dog is three months old and came to her after being with “irresponsible” owners. The pooch lived outside in a cage in the desert from the time she was two months old. She could not run, never had a toy, and never wagged her tail.

At first, the couple’s other dogs were not thrilled with the new arrival. Since that time, however, they’ve started to come around.

The couple admits feeling like new parents and trying to do everything right.

“It gives me new respect for moms that have babies because, to worry about your baby in a crate, I can’t even imagine,” she jokingly shared.
