Man Forces Golden Retriever Into Dogfight & Proudly Posts Footage Online

Matthew Bryan Garman thought he could get away with a horrific act of abuse against an innocent animal. The Cleveland, Tennessee resident posted a graphic video of a dog fight in which Garman stated aloud, “He did good.”

According to the McKamey Animal Center, the video was recently posted to Facebook and promptly removed, but not before someone sent a copy to them. In the video, one dog brutally attacks another who ended up being severely injured.

The video was forwarded to the Cleveland Police while the animal center said they’d assist with care for the injured dog if he was found. Police were already investigating a separate animal abuse complaint involving Garman at the same time the video came in.

Authorities chose not to show the video on social media due to its graphic content. However, the injured dog was believed to be a male Golden Retriever purebred or mix.

Thankfully, the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office located and arrested Garman on a charge of fighting or baiting of animals.
