This amazing video shows a remarkable scene between Hernán, a toddler with Down Syndrome, and a beautiful, gentle Labrador Retriever named ‘Himalaya’. Hernán and his mother, Ana, live in Buenos Aires and Ana has commented that because of his condition with Down Syndrome, Hernán has always had a problem with physical contact.
The remarkable thing to note here is how Himalaya the lab shows incredible insight and sensitivity to the boy’s condition laying down sweetly as he almost to introduce himself, allowing the boy get familiar with him – as if to say, “I am your friend and will be here for you”.
