Man Tosses Bag Off Bridge Into Water, Fishermen Below Find 8 Puppies Inside

Gary James Goulas is an evil person. The 55-year-old man from Breaux Bridge, Louisiana engaged in the most heinous act against innocent puppies.

Sheriff’s deputies arrested Goulas and charged him with throwing a bag of puppies off a bridge.

A witness watched in horror as Goulas stopped his white single-cab truck on a bridge and threw a bag into the waters below. The bag contained eight live newborn Labrador Retriever puppies.

Not only did the witness see the incident, but video surveillance captured Goulas fleeing the scene. Prior to locating Goulas, a reward for information leading to an arrest went as high as $7,200.

Luckily, local fishermen saw a paper bag and realized puppies were inside. The pups miraculously survived and are in the care of a foster mom, Michelle Youngberg, who works with Every Paw Animal Rescue.

“My first thought and my first responsibility was to get antibiotics on board. We knew they (puppies) had gotten wet,” Youngberg stated. “We knew they were in dirty water. We knew they were cold. We didn’t know how long they had been without their mom.”

They are being bottled fed, gaining weight, and their eyes are starting to open. They will be up for adoption soon. Interested parties can email eparinc@yahoo.com for an adoption application.
