Shannon landed on an embankment nearby. She could feel the bleeding inside her head, and knew that there was no one on the empty roads who could help her. That’s when she felt the presence of a huge animal breathing down her face. A stray German Shepherd had come out of nowhere to be her guardian angel!

Shannon was losing consciousness by the second, but she could feel she was being pulled and tugged out of the woods and into the streets, more than 100 feet away. Soon, a passing car found Shannon, and took her to ER for the necessary help.

When Shannon woke up, her hero was gone. She knew that she would not have survived if it wasn’t for the selfless act of the dog. When she recovered, she helped track the dog, and get him to the Humane Society.
