Homeless Man Rushed To Hospital, And His Loyal Companions Follow And Wait

A homeless man in Brazil named Luiz was rushed to the hospital after suffering a stroke, and his six loyal companions made sure to be there for him.

Hospital workers recorded the heartwarming scene after the dogs had chased the ambulance for miles to be with their owner.

The six dogs took position by the front entrance to wait for their owner to return. Amigos de Patas Cianorte, an organization focusing on animal welfare, arrived to care for the worried dogs. They fed them and took photos of the furry family.

Luiz has lived on the streets for over 20 years turning down offers by family members for housing all because he didn’t want to leave his faithful friends behind. Their strong bond is very apparent.

The next morning, Luiz was able to be released into the care of his brother. But the man and his brother exited through another door putting the reunion with his dogs on hold. A volunteer had to reach out to Luiz at his brother’s house and bring him back to where his dogs waited patiently.

Luiz may be homeless, but he definitely isn’t alone in life. The man and his dogs are back together again, and this story goes to show that nothing is more important than family.
