She Sees A Homeless Man Pull A Cart Of Dogs With His Bike. Then She Stops And Changes His Life Forever

While driving home to Arkansas, Alicia Erdington saw a homeless man on the side of the road. As she drove closer, she saw that he was pulling ten dogs in a cart from the back of his bike. He was struggling to make his way somewhere, that was for certain.

Alicia continued on her journey but promised herself if she saw the man again, she would stop to help him. Sure enough, she did!

The kind woman introduced herself and learned that the man, named Steve, was from California. He had been homeless since 2001. The reason why was MIND-BLOWING! For the past several years, he devoted all his time and resources to animals in need. He used every last penny he had and helped over 50 dogs!

At that moment, Steve was riding his bike all the way to Indiana to see his girlfriend, 3000 miles away! His girlfriend is an animal lover too!

After hearing his story, Alicia decided she had to help this kind and loving man! She and her mom launched a petition through Facebook, asking for donations to aid Steve and his dogs on their journey.

In just a few hours, donations began pouring in! A woman even offered to give Steve and his dogs a ride all the way to Indiana.

Steve and his dogs were taken to a motel where they could settle in and rest. They were obviously exhausted! Steve was also put in contact with Angela, an organization coordinator who specializes in helping homeless folks and their animals.

The support is overwhelming! Through the kindness others, Steve got a new trailer for himself and his pups. His dogs also received all the medical attention they needed. They will never be forced to live on the streets again!

It’s amazing what people are willing to do for one another but what’s even more amazing is what Steve was willing to do to help animals who couldn’t help themselves. What a hero!
