Even after years had passed since Jack’s disappearance, the pooch was always in the back of Mike’s mind. One day, he received a phone call from Winnipeg’s Centennial Animal Hospital out of the blue. The staff informed him that they had Jack, and asked him if he was his owner!
Mike ran to the hospital with a thumping heart, hoping that all of it was true. In this video, we see Mike’s emotional reunion with Jack as they see each other for the first time in 4 years. Poor Jack just crumbles into his dad’s arms like a little baby after all the hardships he had been through.

The staff later informed Mike that Jack was picked up by a motorist from the streets. Thanks to his microchip, they were able to contact Mike. Now that Jack is back in the safety of his home, Mike says that his life finally feels “normal”. He wants his fateful story to spark hope in the hearts of all the sad owners who are still looking for their missing pet.
