Benjamin and Hope Jordan had just moved to Charleston, South Carolina. As they started hunting for a baby-sitter for their toddler, they went through extra diligence to get the perfect nanny, Alexis Khan, or so they thought.

In reality, Alexis was an abusive monster. During her tenure, she would leave the baby crying for hours, hurl abuses at him, slap him continuously, and physically abuse him. The family’s dog, Killian, saw all this with his own eyes, and desperately wanted to protect the little one. So he decided to lash out at Alexis.
That’s when the parents started noticing the striking change in the docile Killian’s behavior. He would get very aggressive with Alexis, and try to attack her ferociously. The suspicious parents realized that they could not trust Alexis. So they set up a recording device to record the audio during their absence.

Sure enough, seven-and-a-half hours of nightmarish abuse was recorded. Once the parents retrieved the recorder, they were shocked at what they were hearing. They acted immediately, and helped send Alexis behind bars for child abuse.

Today, Alexis is banned from working with children. The family says they only have Killian to thank for this. If it wasn’t for his barks and cries, the child would have continued to face abuse. The intuitive Killian is a true hero!
