An innocent dog, later named Maggie, had been through something horrific yet survived– and preserved thanks to her inner strength and the help of kind humans.

Maggie was found in the most horrific condition in Lebanon. As her rescuers’ say “Maggie’s story is one of the worst cases of abuse we have ever come across.”
And they have seen a lot! The poor pup was found chained to a box with one of her ears cut off and a broken jaw. Maggie was also pregnant.

When her rescuers looked closer, they realized she had been shot as well. Maggie was brought to the UK by the Wild At Heart Foundation.
Once the vet was able to examine her, he realized she was shot a total of 17 times, including a shot to each eye, blinding her.

Amazingly, Maggie showed no fear and no hostility. She put her trust in the humans around her, knowing they were there to help her.

With funds raised and donations pouring in for her care, Maggie was able to have all the surgery she needed in order to recover. It was a long, painstaking process but Maggie pulled through!

Her recovery and tenacity through it all made her internet famous. Maggie found a forever home and is now a “spokesdog” through her social media pages. Maggie, you’re amazing!

We have no idea if anyone paid for what they did to Maggie HOWEVER Maggie got her revenge by surviving and thriving!
