Uneasy Woman Knelt Down Near Growling Pit Bull, Readied Herself To Open Door

There is never an excuse to abandon an animal but sadly it happens more often than we can stand.

Stray Rescue Of St. Louis received a call about a white Pit Bull that was seen coming in and out of a dilapidated house in a horrible part of town.

The house was basically falling down but the dog refused to leave the one place she felt safe.

As they climbed up the stairs and went through to a back room, they could hear a low grumble. There she was! The poor pup was petrified as she laid on a blanket.

Her low growling was her way of saying, “Please don’t approach me. I am afraid.” The experienced rescuers understood and gave her some space.

They backed off and as they did, they left a trail of sausages hoping the dog would follow them. They set up a humane trap and waited across the street.

The beautiful white dog finally emerged. She was starving and couldn’t resist the trail of food. She followed it into the trap.

The rescuers were just waiting for that door to shut. They knew it wasn’t ideal and she would be scared but saving her life was their first priority.

The door finally shut and they were able to approach. The dog was still making her low grumbles. But the women understood why.

One of the rescuers knelt down and told the dog, they later name Malala, that it was going to be okay. She didn’t quite believe them yet and continued to growl. Now they had to carry the cage into their jeep and get Malala to the rescuer center.

Something truly incredible happens next once Malala is in their care. The frightened dog that had been so elusive and wouldn’t stop growling does something that utterly shocks her new human friends.

You can’t miss it! Thanks to the video below you don’t have to! Thank you to Malala’s rescuers. You’re all awesome!
