We are all aware that we have to take great care of our pets because they can easily get lost without being able to find their way back home. Even though this is something we wish no dog or other pet owner to experience, the reality is that we hear stories of lost animals very often.
A man from Tbilisi, Georgia had lost his lovely dog three years ago. He was trying to get to it ever since but to no avail, until one day he got a call about a dog that was laying in front of a shop and resembled his pet a lot.
The man got to the place as fast as he could in hopes of finding his long lost companion. Once he spotted the dog, he called his name, and what followed was one of the most emotional reunions we’ve witnessed.
The dog recognized his owner and the two hugged as the animal couldn’t stop wagging his tail in excitement.
The redditor who shared this story online says that “The way the owner calls him and the reaction of the dog speak for themselves.”
The video shows that no matter how much time passes by, a dog never forgets his owner.
There a lot of stray dogs in Georgia so the government makes sure each of them has an ID number on its ear, so if you see a dog with a yellow tag it means it is vaccinated.
