Man Leaves Dog Home Alone For Days, Starves Him Til He Is ‘Skin & Bones’

A Boynton Beach, Florida man is now facing animal cruelty charges after police found his dog living in piles of feces, with no food to eat and water that contained insect larvae.

36-year-old Stanley Davis Jr. was arrested on charges of cruelty to animals and unlawful confinement of animals after police conducted an investigation following a neighbor’s complaint against him.

When police searched his home, they found the eight-year-old dog severely emaciated with his ribs, spine and hip bones showing.

Davis told the cops that he is out of town for days at a time, due to his job, and only fed the dog every three to four days.

When police searched his home, Davis admitted to not feeding the dog for several days.

The dog has since been taken in by a local rescue group, where they will put him on a proper diet and give him some much-needed TLC.

Once he is fully recovered, he will be put up for adotption.
