Adopting a pet is a life-long commitment. If anyone is forced to surrender their pet or rehome them, it should be for reasons beyond their control. And saying goodbye should be filled with heartache and sorrow.
But for one heartless man, surrendering his dog was emotional alright but it actually made him smile!

Gordo, a two-year-old mixed breed, was surrendered to the Miami-Dade Animal Care Shelter by his callous owner.
The look on his owner’s face was so disgusting that the shelter felt sharing the photo would put this situation into perspective.
Sadly, there are way too many unfeeling humans out there and that have no business owning a pet in the first place.

While the scenario is heartbreaking, that a man can smile and be this happy while giving up his pet, we are relieved that Gordo will no longer be in this man’s life.
If this guy can behave like this in public, imagine what he’s like behind closed doors!
