Pit Bull Puppy Won’t Stop Crying After Surgery, So Vet Lifts Her In His Arms

A Pit Bull puppy named Meesha was found in a lonely corner of a street in Baltimore, Maryland. The puppy was taken in by the BARCS Animal Shelter where she received further care and assistance.

While the puppy was sweet and playful at all times, she completely changed when she was due to get spayed.

Meesha was terrified of the chaos at the hospital, but she still complied and let the staff take care of her during the surgery.

But after the surgery, she was completely in the grip of post-anesthesia drowsiness. She wouldn’t stop crying and was in total distress due to her panicked state.

When the staff failed to calm Meesha down, Dennis Moses, who has years of experience as a surgical assistant, stepped in to help Meesha.

He took her in his arms and moved to a quiet corridor. He then gently sang her a soothing lullaby and cradled her to sleep.

Meesha felt so safe with Dennis that she had no further trouble recovering from the surgery!

Meesha soon found a home with a loving family, and now loves cuddling her mom before bedtime! She has been renamed as Maddie and is growing up to be a bright and loving girl.

As for Dennis, he continues helping frightened pets at the hospital through his lovely melodies!
