Anxious guests at Quality Inn and Suites in Orlando, Florida, panicked to find 3 distressed puppies stuffed inside an overheated SUV in the hotel’s parking lot.
One of the guests called 911 while the rest tried to free the trapped puppies by cracking the windows.

When the deputies arrived at about 9 AM, 6-month-old Chihuahua named Minnie had already died in the vehicle. The other two pups, 3-month-old Shepherd mix Kiara and 6-month-old Terrier mix Gruff, were taken to Orange County Animal Services for immediate medical attention.
Unfortunately, Kiara wasn’t able to make it too. Cops gauged the temperature inside the car to be approximately 112 degrees Fahrenheit.
The puppies’ owner was tracked to be 54-year-old Penelope Stanley, but she was found nowhere near the car. Spread the word so she is caught soon and faces the consequences of her crime.

Update: After a thorough search, the deputies of Orange County Sheriff’s Office were able to nab Penelope.
She claims that she was in Orlando for vacation and had left her puppies “safely” in the car overnight as her hotel did not allow dogs inside.

The cops noted that the dogs were unattended for such long hours without food or water. Their heatstroke deaths were a result of Penelope’s negligence and so she has been arrested on 3 counts of animal cruelty.
She’s being held on a $2,600 bond. We hope she gets an appropriate sentence and pays for letting her puppies meet such painful ends.
Check out the video below to watch how Penelope’s indifferent act led to the tragic death of her puppies.
