Animal Aid Unlimited received a call about an older dog lying hurt in a drain, so they set out for rescue.
Upon arrival, they saw that the dog had a huge wound on his backside. The poor boy was in pain and fragile in his old age, so they carefully lifted him from the drain to transport him to the animal hospital.
They addressed the maggot problem and administered pains meds and an IV. They were happy to see that the dog had an appetite, and in just a few weeks his wound was healing wonderfully!
Today, Shabaash is a brand new dog, and you’ll want to see him. 🙂
