Carlos Carrillo and his colleague, who work for Shoreline Plumbing, were on their way to a job in Robstown, Texas, when they came across something odd on the side of the road. Upon closer inspection, they were horrified to discover that it was a dog in desperate need of help.

The dog was tied up with tubing and his mouth was duct-taped shut. It was unknown what monster had done this to him, but whoever it was definitely wanted him to die out there.

Luckily, Carrillo and his coworker found him just in time and cut him free. Despite what he had been through, the pup was still very friendly and loving.
The plumbers immediately brought the dog to Peewee’s Pet Adoption, a no-kill shelter nearby.

After receiving a medical examination, staff was happy to find out that he was overall pretty healthy, aside from being heartworm positive, which he was treated for.
It didn’t take long before everyone at the shelter fell in love with this sweet pup. He was so happy to finally be safe and wouldn’t stop wagging his tail.

The evil monster who did this may never be brought to justice, but luckily this neglected doggy is safe, happy and, most importantly, healthy now!
Once he was ready, he was put up for adoption to find his forever family.
