Postal workers running away from dogs? Maybe it's really a myth because one mailman seems to absolutely love the neighbor's pooch.
Here’s another reminder that you should never judge a book by its cover.
Kyza is a 9-month-old German shepherd. His owner, Michael, says Kyza always gets overlooked as a dangerous or unapproachable dog.
And while Kyza rarely barks, Michael believes he is pre-judged because of his intimidating size and breed.
Well, not Steve the post worker though. Whether or not Steve has mail, he drops by to see Kyza. Everyday. Rain or shine… and gives the dog a friendly hug and a pat.
Well, lucky for all of us, this heartwarming interaction between Steve and Kyza was caught on hidden video camera, and the footage is now going viral!
Watch Steve cozy up to Kyza in the video on the next page!

My 1 1/2 yr old German Richard is the same way…We drove from Ohio to Kentucky to get him and he had been caged a lot and not socialized..he’s an extremely gentle, non barking dog.

We don’t have mail delivered to the house. But the garbageman gets greeted by our Shepherd. And he always takes the time to give him a scratch and a pet.
