We cannot deny the fact that dogs are kind and compassionate. They would also greet us enthusiastically and with happy faces. Truly, dogs have an unlimited reservoir of love.
Their pureness and kindness are embodied by this puppy, Lana. Lana is an 8-month-old rescue in the streets of Brazil. She was adopted by Suelen Schaumloeffel and her fiancé.
Now, she found a loving home and access to the life she never had before: yummy food each day, a warm home, and two human “parents” who love her dearly.
After being saved from the streets. Lana never forget the experience she had and what is it like to other dogs who was not as lucky as she is.
When the weather start to gets cold, Suelen would provide Lana a thicker blanket to keep her warm in her doghouse. One night, after tucking Lana, they didn’t know that the dog would also share her blanket to other dog on the street.
Suellen’s fiancée discovered the next morning that Lana was in front of their house and cuddled with her blanket. She pulled over the fence to share with another dog outside their house.
Suelen mentioned she had seen that dog wandering the neighborhood the day before. It ran away when they tried to come near him to see if he had a collar or a phone number to call.
As the dog was sleeping it’s likely that it was homeless and little Lana decide to share some comfort with him on that cold night.
“I thought, ‘How beautiful what she did for her friend. My best four-legged friend reminded me of something so important: generosity!” says Suelen.
Since that day, the couple would see the dog every now and then but run away each time they try to approach him. If Lana could, they would do the same for her homeless friend.
“She is the nicest little dog I’ve ever met,” Suelen said. “We forget sometimes the difference we can make in someone’s life. She reminded me of this.”
