Puppy Is Sad At Shelter, Until She Reunites With The Firefighter Who Saved Her From Abuse

Some time ago, Sacramento firefighter Mike Thorley rescued a dying puppy. The poor animal was abused, scared, and prayed for someone to hear her cry for help. Mike was on duty when he heard the puppy bark, but he had to answer a call and he just walked away.

But when the shift was over, he couldn’t help thinking about the animals in need of help, so he came back. The puppy was a badly ignored pitbull by the owner she was tied to a tree in the rain. Mike told she have an infection on her skin because her entire body was covered with swastikas and open wounds.

This amazing firefighter named the dog “chunky” and he took her home and bathed her before taking her to the Front Street Animal Shelter. Mike knew that Chunky was in his safe hands, but he couldn’t stop thinking of her.

The next day, Mike first visited the shelter and saw Chunky spend the first night in the shelter.

When he saw her, his heart melted. Chunky wore a cute pink dress and was much happier than the day before. The moment she saw him, she recognized him and greeted him in a hurry.

He knew that the staff were so affectionate and welcoming that he was doing the right thing to take her to this animal shelter. Chunky can feel that she has been given her second chance in her life and will not stop her fight until she is completely healthy again.

Mike offers Chunky a place to live and even adopting.

If that happens, this puppy will be the happiest puppy on the planet.
