Unsettling Events Kept Occurring In Shelter, So Anxious Staff Set Up A Camera

The workers at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in London were left bewildered when the dogs of a block in their shelter were found lurking in the corridors one morning.

The dogs had been locked in their kennels the previous night, so the workers had no idea how the furry mates made an escape. On top of that, the kitchen rations were also heavily compromised.

The shelter staff initially let the incident slide as a one-off occurrence triggered by some human error. But when the exact same thing began happening every single night, they knew it was time to investigate.

The shelter got CCTVs installed in that particular block and the kitchen, and hoped that they would be able to crack the mystery behind the dogs’ mysterious “jailbreaks”!

In this footage shared by the shelter, we see exactly what happens when the staff leaves for the day.

Every dog remains perfectly seated in their respective kennels, but one lurcher dog named Red visibly waits for the corridor to be empty.

When he’s sure there’s no one in the shelter, he finally steps out of his bed.

We watch in awe as Red not only frees himself, but also releases every other dog in his block with his incredibly “slick” moves!

As the whole gang proceeds for their late night snack in the kitchen, we can see that the other dogs literally worship their “pack leader”, Red.

This dog is definitely living the thug life!

Click the video below to watch how the mastermind Red frees his shelter mates and takes them for their late night “pawtee”!
